April Spotlight: ALOHA TREE ALLIANCE
ULOHA is excited to announce Aloha Tree Alliance as our dedicated Spotlight Organization for the month of April. Aloha Tree Alliance is a non-profit that attempts to reduce the effects of climate change and promote sustainability through various projects that you can participate in. Help ULOHA Plant Trees!
On April 21st and 22nd, Uloha and the Aloha Tree Alliance will again be partnering up with Oboz Footwear to plant native trees! Last year we planted 100 native trees! Oboz offers to purchase one tree for every pair of Oboz that is tried on at Uloha anytime for the month of April. YOU CAN HELP PLANT THE TREES, TOO - Stop by ULOHA to find out how!
ULOHA Awarded by Hawai'i Invasive Species Council
Last month the state of Hawaii honored ULOHA as the 2023 Outstanding Business Leader for Hawaii Invasive Species Awareness! Senator Gabbard presented the award to ULOHA at a ceremony where many other great organizations were recognized. ULOHA is proud to be a part of the Hawaii outdoor community and assist however we can in the removal of invasive species and protection of our aina.
