This Earth Day ULOHA is partnering with Aloha Tree Alliance + Oboz to plant native trees along Kuliou’ou Ridge Trail. Come in to ULOHA and try on Oboz- for every pair tried on, we plant a tree! We’ve all seen the classic Menehune Water jug with the yellow handle on the island (pictured below). If you have extras of these water jugs lying around, please bring them into ULOHA! Our April Spotlight: Aloha Tree Alliance utilizes these specific gallon jugs (due to their sturdiness/convenient handle) to water trees they plant along Kuliouou Ridge Trail in their efforts to conserve the environment. ULOHA is proud to be joining 808Cleanups in their Restoration Event at Nimitz Beach on April 19th, 2023 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. We will be removing invasive plants and cleaning up the area. All cleanup supplies will be provided by 808Cleanups! Just make sure to properly dress for the task (sturdy footwear, sun protection, and work pants). Click the image above to register!
