Ko'olau Mountains Watershed Partnership (ULOHA's June Spotlight Organization) has SO MANY wonderful ways in which they stay involved with our community. KMWP offers informative AND interactive presentations for the classroom: all the way from kindergarten up to college level educating students on watersheds, native species, and more. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is hosting the Hawaii Hike for Hope. You can sign up through their website (or by clicking HERE).  By participating in the H4H, you can help save lives and raise awareness around suicide prevention. All it takes is your registration. AFSP will send you a BINGO card for you to complete/fill out throughout the month of June. It consists of hikes: ANYWHERE and ANYTIME you want throughout the month! The Mango Days 5k will be held at Magic Island this coming Sunday. This race is very special, at it is organized in the honor of of Patty Smith, who lost her battle to lymphoma at just 19. The race will start at 6:30 am. Be sure to partake in EARLY PACKET PICKUP, with one of these days being held at ULOHA: Saturday June 17th (8a-12p). We will see you then!
